Like the bowls, these plates and dishes were made to be used and will look and feel better for it.
When washed in hot water and detergent as instructed the oil and beeswax finish comes off and after that the wood develops a softer patina with use. The myrtle and celery top pine plates have been in daily use since they were made in 1982 and 1986 respectively.
